Consider working with us if...

  1. ​You are a current Southeastern University student. At this time, ORACLE is only hiring current Southeastern students. 
  2. You are interested in editing. ORACLE offers a variety of positions, many of which revolve around reading and editing student works. If this is something you enjoy, the ORACLE may be a great fit for you!
  3. You enjoy working with a team. The ORACLE team includes current students and Southeastern faculty. You will get to work alongside other editors and staff members in a variety of roles.
  4. You enjoy reading different types of literature. ORACLE receives a variety of submissions, ranging from poetry to academic pieces. If you enjoy reading a selection of literature, then working with ORACLE will be a great experience.

Why Work with ORACLE?

Working with ORACLE is a great way to get practical editing experience. As a member of the ORACLE team, you will learn how to edit a variety of literary works, work alongside fellow undergraduates, compile an academic journal and gain valuable resume experience.

Even if you don't intend to work in publishing, learning how to edit and compile writing is a great practice for your academic and career life.
